  1. A short time ago I purchased a two device license for startallback to be used on my windows 11 pro computers, so far I've only installed the software on one of my computers. I just wanted to state that in being honest I had previously installed start11 v2 on one of my computers but have since deactivated the license for it and now I'm using startallback because I feel like it's a better offering mainly because of the additional features & settings in comparison to start11 v2 . David
  2. On a different website that I frequent quite a bit I read that the windows 11 development team is supposedly already designing a new and improved windows 11 start menu that will be a lot more well received than the current one is, has anyone else heard the same thing or anything that relates to this ?
  3. Out of fairness to the developer as well as trying to avoid any additional negative replies I have been in communication with the developer of startallback and after explaining what I was wanting to do he has reset my two device license back to the way it was in the beginning , I DID NOT even bring up the subject in any way shape or form of the word REFUND. As far as the living part of the comment I plan on living as long as GOD allows me to and then I'll take the journey to my new home.
  4. I have purchased a lifetime license for two devices and have the software installed on one of my windows 11 computers, is it possible to uninstall the software off of the current computer and then reinstall it on a different windows 11 computer ?
  5. Hi Everyone, I'm typing this on my acer laptop that's running vista home premium sp2 32-bit edition, I have an issue installing simple .msi files that I've downloaded from the microsoft download center. The latest file that I can't get to install properly is this one: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=11816 As I stated..I'm still running vista on this laptop and there isn't a xps file viewer included with vista, this morning I downloaded the Windows Performance Tool Kit (WPT), so I could evaluate my laptop for continually high cpu usage. I also downloaded this file to help me use the windows performance tool properly, but I don't seem to have a xps viewer included in my software. Has anyone else had this issue..and if so how did you fix it ? Thanks, David
  6. Hello All, Are they working on a version that will work with windows 7 home premium ? That sure would be GREAT !! Thanks, David
  7. Cluberti, So I take it by you adding the link about how to post in the forums, I posted my topic in an erroneous manner ? Thanks for a reply anyway. David
  8. Hello All, On one of my computers, I've added a new user (my wife), so she could use that computer and have her own settings and programs separate from mine. Since I'm the administrator of that computer, I added her as a 'standard' account, I guess I thought when she logged in under her user name, the desktop would be virtually like a new computer, much to my surprise..the desktop shows what seems to be exactly the same programs that are available when I'm logged in under my account. Isn't there anyway to achieve this in windows vista ? Thanks, David
