Hello people, I've have a quastion, its a strange one, but i hope someone can help me. I finished my working unattended w7 dvd. It did work fine , but i had a error in my SETUPCOMPLETE.CMD so i changed it in my install.wim. When i want to make a new iso with my working SETUPCOMPLETE.CMD i get the strange thing. I get on startup after pressing a key and i come on the section that normaly you can choose the partions where to install w7, i get sudenly a message that i do not have driver for my cd/dvd driver? If i try the image dvd before my changes everthing goes well. I use ultra iso to make my dvd iso and i use virtual pc to try it out. What could be the problem? Is it my install.wim file whats killing me or is it something else? Please help me.

Hello everyone, i have a question. I have a strange thing with my own made Unattended Windows 7 dvd. I hope that somebody can tell me what the problem is what i have. If i install the dvd everything goes well, but at the end of the installation there begins the big question. One moment all my extra applications what i put in my sources\$OEM$\$$\SETUP\SCRIPTS folder will be installed , but the next time i install the dvd the programs will not be installed. What is wrong in my dvd that he sometimes installs my extra applications and the other time he dos not do it? I've solved the problem. I found on the microsoft site also a hint to put everything , if my option did fail, in the install.wim file in the maps \Windows\Setup\Scripts and it works. So my problem is solved.

I've made my unattended w7 dutch dvd and its 99% finished but there are some things i would like to change before i'm finished. if i boot my dvd i get the english text: Press any key to boot from dvd or cd.. This one i have solved, i changed it with a dutch bootfix.bin file and works! and Windows is loading files Where can and find these line's?

Yes thats it Raoul90 , but if i look on that site can i leave the number 90 away Coming back to you setupcomplete.cmd i've have no problem with it, a part i have intregatedwith the tool kit but the bigger programs like office i use the setcomplete file.

There is a easier way. I have found after long searching a tool where you can do everything with such as: *intregating updates from windows; *intregating software into install.wim file ( does it all by him self) *driver intregation. no and its not vlite or nlite, its i a better one special for windows 7. I'm trying it out but i love it at the moment.

First if it is x86 version the /IMAGE/INDEX Must be value 4 for the professional. If i'm not wrong the RTM version is standard teh Ultimated version , if thats so the other 4 options are blocked but can be unblocked.

What could be valid copy command in my case?

Well if i let Quicktime away and put another program to it then everything stil works but if i add again another program then it fails again. It looks like i'm stuck with a limit, could this be possible? Can anybody tell me why i get this error ? Is it possible if i put the key part at the wrong place that my autounattended dos'nt work anymore? I tryed to do your first option in my w7 rtm version but then the script dos nothing also the second option did'nt work. If i let the part of the product key out if the script then the script works fine. What could be the problem?

I searched in google for this but i don't know if its right? When i run my unattended windows 7 version i stil get the question to enter the product key. In google i've read that it is possible to do it with the next text. <ProductKey> <WillShowUI>OnError</WillShowUI> <Key>xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx</Key> </ProductKey> Can somebody tell me if this works or stands the X for a number so nobody can see it? I want to skip this part in the setup.

A little correction on this. If you have the Ultimated version then the Value must be 5.

Thx , for the gadgets but still i have some problems in your script. While windows is installing i get suddenly a error about the language file that's not been found in the offline file. I will try to look further into it. At this moment my dvd is almost ready , only the some little problems whith the autounattend.xml. At this moment i have the dutch language intregrated, so windows works 100% dutch or 100% english if you make in the beginning the choice. At the end of windows installation will install office 2007 with all updates, new winzip 12, new total commander and many more. Just the autounattend.xml file and everything is for me 100% ready

At this moment it works what you wrote. Another litle question. I see in your autounattend.xml that you refer to the next: 7 oobeSystem - x86_Microsoft-Windows-Sidebar_neutral Gadget4 - %PROGRAMFILES%\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\Radio538.Gadget How dit you manage to add this in your image? Did you put that in the install.wim file, because its not a standard gadget in windows? Also i get a error in the time as result that the installtion is shutdown. I think its in the name <TimeZone>W. Europe Standard Time</TimeZone>

In the begin setup you have a screen where you can choose what version of windows 7 you want to start, is there a posibility to skip that because i only have winodws 7 ultimated, also the licence acception may also be left out?

Could somebody maybe tell me where to paste that unattend.xml file? I've tryed it to past it at the front but then i get a list what version i want to install (basic ,...., ultimated) and i only have the ultimated. I'm trying it for the first time with my ultimated version, i already have the dutch language intregaded en a lot of program's sutch as office 2007 , winzip12, and many more, but now i want to windows 7 installation also automatic sutch as the first poster has. Can anybody help me? Sorry for my bad english i'm from holland.
