  1. Hi, Well done with the guide, but I still didn't find the answer how to delete some data from particular value. I will try to explain it with an example: <Value path="Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Svchost" value="LocalServiceAndNoImpersonation" part="software" /> <!-- Only word "SensrSvc" needs to be removed from value "LocalServiceAndNoImpersonation" not whole value!--> Also is there any naming conventions for each components we create? I mean for example sticky notes: "stickynotes" or "sticky_notes" or it doesn't matter? Finally you didn't specify names for each components group i.e. media, system, services, accessories and what else? Thanks
  2. Hi blue4603 Do you need any help with adding new components to your program? I mean by simply creating new ones (sorry if example below breaks software copyright) and sending to you to approve: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <_7Customizer> <Componenet name="Adaptive Brightness" requiredForStableSystem="false" size="Less than 1" group="Services"> <Description>Monitors ambient light sensors to detect changes in ambient light and adjust the display brightness.</Description> <DependantComponenets /> <NeededFor /> <Files> <File path="Windows\System32\sensrsvc.dll" method="delete"/> <File path="Windows\System32\en-US\sensrsvc.dll.mui" method="delete"/> </Files> <Directories> <Directory path="Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-m..epc-sensors-service*" method="delete"/> <Directory path="Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-m..s-service.resources*" method="delete"/> </Directories> <Registry> <Keys> <Key path="ControlSet001\services\SensrSvc" part="system"/> <Key path="DerivedData\Components\amd64_microsoft-windows-m..epc-sensors-service*" part="components"/> <Key path="DerivedData\Components\amd64_microsoft-windows-m..s-service.resources*" part="components"/> <Key path="DerivedData\VersionedIndex\6.1.7601.17514 (win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850)\ComponentFamilies\amd64_microsoft-windows-m..epc-sensors-service*" part="components"/> <Key path="DerivedData\VersionedIndex\6.1.7601.17514 (win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850)\ComponentFamilies\amd64_microsoft-windows-m..s-service.resources*" part="components"/> </Keys> <Values> <!-- Only "SensrSvc" needs to be removed from value "LocalServiceAndNoImpersonation" but I don't know yet how--> <Value path="Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Svchost" value="LocalServiceAndNoImpersonation" part="software" /> </Values> </Registry> </Componenet> </_7Customizer> I would be really happy to help, because I have good feelings about this application:)
  3. Hi I have been playing for quite a while now with dism scripts, vLite, RT7Lite, 7Customizer and other tools. I think that development of RT7Lite is going in the wrong direction. vLite is like a Porsche here:) I just hope it will be better in the future. Anyway good to hear that, it's not only me having problems with corrupted files during installation:) I thought it was my fault, because of deep cleaning of install.wim. Here is the list of corrupted files spotted so far: system32 pdhui.dll polstore.dll PortableDeviceApi.dll PortableDeviceClassExtension.dll PortableDeviceConnectApi.dll PortableDeviceStatus.dll PortableDeviceSyncProvider.dllPortableDeviceTypes.dll PortableDeviceWiaCompat.dll PortableDeviceWMDRM.dll puiapi.dll rasapi32.dll rascfg.dll rasdiag.dll rasmxs.dll rasser.dll resutils.dll samlib.dll sbeio.dll sdshext.dll srclient.dll wercplsupport.dll wfapigp.dll wmi.dll wscisvif.dll wscproxystub.dll wscsvc.dll WSManMigrationPlugin.dll WsmAuto.dll wsmplpxy.dll WsmRes.dll plasrv.exe printui.exe resmon.exe ROUTE.EXE rrinstaller.exe SearchFilterHost.exe wsmprovhost.exe wbem NCProv.dll wbemprox.dll wbemsvc.dll WinMgmtR.dll WmiApRes.dll WMICOOKR.dll WMIsvc.dll oobe WinLGDep.dll winsetup.dll wdsutil.dll setup cmmigr.dll shared/res padrs404.dll padrs411.dll Might be useful for someone.
