About shutfu

  1. when following the latest guide you posted AlexCeed, the folder s2 isnt empty after the apply/capture process so it cant be used in the mount process. also the stuff that is in it cant be completely deleted. I'm having a hell of a time getting everything deleted.
  2. which waik is waik 2.0? theres waik for Windows 7 SP1, theres waik for windows 7 version 3.0 and then theres Waik for Vista SP1 which i assume is waik 1.1 sooo... which one is waik 2.0?
  3. I'm sure I had the correct setup.exe because I made that mistake the first time or two as well. Usually I get an error during the installation process, right after you choose which harddisk/partition to install windows on. Have you successfully made a vlited 64bit windows 7?
  4. I have tried countless times (atleast 10-15) following your guide trying to make a slimmed down Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I followed it word for word, exactly, multiple times, but I can never get past the installation without some error or needing some driver or file. I'm currently on a Windows 7 x64 machine with vlite and Vista Sp1/2008 WAIK installed, so I should be able to make a slimmed down win7 x64 by following your guide, correct? I'm gonna give it one more go, this time without any updates, using your scripts exactly as you have them. Also, whats this RT7lite program I keep hearing about? is it just a bunch of bogus ?
  5. you the champ, thanks boss
  6. dead0, hurry up with the new batch bro you're killin me! i just followed your guide for x86 win7 ultimate word for word, changed nothing in any of the files, and I ended up with a 608mb ISO file that errors on install. =(
  7. please do! and sooooooooon =)
  8. everytime i try to go download it, it goes to mediafire, then mediafire pops up and says "NOTICE: No servers are currently available with the requested data on them. Please retry your request in a moment. Click to dismiss this message. 7Slimmer_MMX_R2.exe (209 KB)"
  9. I'm confused as to what order I'm supposed to do things in to retain updateability, and I can't quite understand what is meant by] so before removing winsxs with vlite, as in, make a "vanilla" (untouched/default) install in a virtual machine, run update kb947821 to repair winsxs folder (but it shouldnt be changed at all because we haven't done anything yet....???), extract winsxs from the virtual machine and replace the winsxs on the iso that I've already wim-tweaked and dismed then apply the winsxs removal in vlite. Is this correct? Also, it might just be me, but I've never seen a winsxs removal option in vlite. I keep checking and I just cant find one.
