  1. Sorry about the late reply. Thank you so much, this worked perfectly I'll probably use this method for some other programs as well Saved me a hell of a lot of work
  2. i believe that they install in the order you integrate them. i have not paid attention to that but that is what i think happens. just integrate that app last and try it on virtual machine first Ah ok thanks I'll try that 0.0 lol I'm going to recreate the image again. All I did was remove features, add 246MB Of updates, 160MB of drivers and a couple of programs 54MB and the iso has come out at 5.9GB lol something went wrong there!
  3. Hi, Thanks for this program it is amazing Is there anyway to choose the install order of 3rd party programs you integrate into windows? One of the programs I would like to add requires a restart, but it does not have a switch to silently install with no restart at the end. So I would like to make it install last so windows can restart afterwords without screwing up my other programs I have integrated.
  4. If you have the rarreg.key file in the same directory your installing winrar from it will self register. Thanks but, is there a way to add it to the exe while keeping all the settings in the exe like where to install etc? I'm making a unattended disc of windows and I'm not sure where it puts the programs on the disc. I don't know how to modify the exe. Are you using a program like RT Seven lite to build your unattended DVD? If so which one? Surely it should be a simple matter to find where the programs to be installed are placed. Yeah I'm using RT 7 Lite. I thought it would be easy as well But I have searched through the whole dvd manually and using search and the files are not there. They most of been packed inside of a data pack file or something?

  6. I know winrar uses the /s silent install switch but how can I add my rarreg.key file into the Winrar Archive? So when I reinstall winrar, I wont have to add the license in there myself. The exe seems locked so I cant add the file through winrar. With the older versions there was a command in the comment box that you could just copy into your new Sfx archive and it would look the same as the Original. But this command doesnt seem to be visible anymore.
  7. All updates for Windows 7 are Language Neutral which means that all updates that MS makes for Win7 will work with any language. So yes you can use this ULZ. Here's the layout i use for my UL's below:- <update id="" category="" publishdate="" article="http://support.microsoft.com/kb/kb"> <title></title> <description></description> <filename></filename> <url></url> </update> As for packaging the UL, just zip them up with either the built-in windows zip app or 7-zip, then rename the file extension from .zip to .ulz, if you still get errors it means you've made a mistake somewhere, and i wish you luck with your new UL. Append .xml to your list's name and drag it into Firefox. It should show you the exact line that's causing the problem. Thanks so much for your guys help I got my update list working I only have 1 update in it atm though. I'll probably do the rest this weekend.

I was thinking of creating a list for office 2007 But I dont know where to start. Edit: I found a program to do this Here and I found out how to package the update list here but the program doesn't seem to work anymore. WUD just spits out errors when trying to load the update list. The update list is malformed. there are multiple root elements. Line 9, Position 2. (X2) The update list is malformed. Unexpected end of file has occurred. The following elements are not closed: Line 22 Position 10. Would you be kind enough to give me the layout of an update list? Thanks
