  3. MDGx very Excelent support to Windows 9x Series

  4. Plan 9 with better driver support is here: http://www.quanstro.net/plan9/9atom/index.html
  5. There is a newest and latest freeware version, 6.0.2.621, which is still Me compatible. http://www.softsea.com/review/Active-Virus-Shield.html Description: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AOL_Active_Virus_Shield Troubleshooting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:AOL_Active_Virus_Shield
  6. EPOX EP-4PEAD works flawlessly with Windows Me while supporting both fastest HT-less Pentium 4 and legacy gameport joysticks/1.2&2.88 floppies. Windows Me supports too newest GeForce 4 Titanium flawlessly.
  7. From my experience, 2.88 MB drive flawlessly (no bad sectors) operates on modified 1.44 MB floppies with moved index hole, this is done to match http://www.pcwking1.netfirms.com/DISK1.JPG / http://i941.photobucket.com/albums/ad254/inteltetrium/DSC00233.jpg
  8. UNERASE.EXE from Norton Utilities 2000 (but not from crashing newer versions) after typing following command: unerase /list /noprotected|more lists deleted files even under Windows Me GUI.
  9. There is backward compatible freeware Flux (editor+viewer): http://mediamachines.wordpress.com/flux-player-and-flux-studio/ which supports both older VRML and newer X3D. It still works with Windows Me.
  10. Real DOS 8.00 on separate HDD/partition *WITHOUT PATCHES* for first time: Windows Me OEM bootable CD inside TOOLS\NETTOOLS\FAC\LTOOLS.DTA misnamed cabinet file contains: IO.SYS MSDOS.SYS COMMAND.COM which can be used as system files on any separate HDD/partition, *WITHOUT PATCHES* of any sort. Simply format separate HDD/partition and freshly copy these three files to main directory in given order to have DOS 8.00 working instantly.
