babis, it's not the demand for Arabic restourants, it's just the Edgware Road near Marble Arch is Arabic street, I mean like China town for Chinese near picadilly. I like Arabic food, go there sometimes to have some kebabs and specialy to get the best watermelon you can get in London(big & sweet).

Yeah, Conan! That's what I've done later, the results were better, but still worse then BAH's benchmarks. We have almost the same specs. only is that my P4 is 2.0GHz 512KB L2. It should've been at least the same benchmarks.

I've never tested my PC, I mean I tried but it usually took to much time, so I was canceling testing. Tell me which program to use, and I'll test it tomorrow. Mother board is ASUS P4T-E Regards...

Didn't test it yet! it's 500MHz more that I had, but what I like is, that I upgrated from 423 to 478 with the same memory. I think it's not about speed, but about how you feel? feels great, thanks for asking. FthrJACK, would you suggest any type of testing, to see how it's working. I've never test my PC properly. may be 3D Mark?

Thanks MSNwar! That's what I've done in the end. Because of Drive Image 5, I reinstalled it just 10 times not 20. I have a lot of different soft, so I tried to install it all before Drive Image it and in the end there was something wrong. Especially because Video Card problems I reinstalled it so many times, untill I found out that it's Video Casrd. Now everything running fine even perfect. O.K. got to go... see you

Could be anything, the best and worst way is to delet WinXP and the inatall it again. After that, install the programs one by one. For example when I installed Easy CD Creator 5.0 and update to 5.02. after that I couldn't burn CDs at all, even after uninstalling it. Oh... I've been installing and uninstalling XP about 10 times back in decembe. Keap trying, something will come up. Regards.

I'm planning to get it, but not sure which one. The guy in the shop told me, that 2A is 2.2GHz, but in his stock I could see other P4 which is 2.2GHz not 2A. I actually have RD RAM and 423pin proc, so I wanted to upgrate to 478pin 2.2GHz and twhich will support RD-RAM. He told me, he can get ASUS 478 RD-RAM. So what is better 2A or 2.2 GHz? Thanks

I'm not sure, but my PC was locking up after I installed WinXP. It could run for minuts or hours then in a random moment locks up. As I posted few posts, that it was Video card problem. Somehow XP didn't like my drivers. After I install the latest version of Detonator in my case for nVidia(Hercules) the problem gone. May be it's not you case, but anyway. try installing the latest drivers for Video Card. P.S. Original Hercules drivers from Hercules didn't solve the problem in my case, only some Beta Detonator drivers did.

I've switched off everything I could in msconfig when I first install XP. And services there is no such a thing like workstation, I mean in my services. Thaks anyway, will try to run bootvis again tomorrow and see if XP could do it faster. I noticed that sometimes if you install some program, XP start to boot slower even if you Remove it. I always have the Image of my C: drive, in case I want to restore XP. Regards

Was 1min before I run bootvis, now about 25-30s. 1.5GHz a lot of RAM. I've got too many different programms, so may be without them XP would bootup in 15sec. 30s is fine for me, just perfection.

I've seen it somewhere before and the guys there told me that this file uses your VideoCard to generate all grahics, so I think the programmers made the code which is 64kb and it uses your PC resourses, but still how it plays the music?

Did you mean Detonator 22.80? WHen I first install Detonator 22.50 the problem was solved & now I installed Detonator 22.80 everything is fine. I didn't get any (infinite loop with nv4_disp.dll) error, what I had is WinXP was locked up everything freezes. This is defenaterly drivers problem what you have. I had like that in Win2000 untill i installed new version of drivers. The only thing I ddon't understand is - that before I installed Windows XP on my PC, Win2000 didn't have any VideoCard's drivers problem with the same drivers. I just don't know what make PC don't like VideoCards after installing XP. You see, your drivers are the latest one, so I don't know how to help you! Wait for new drivers...

I'm Russian. I didn't mean all the people, young drivers drive quite good. There are some people who just doesn't understand that they are on the road and dream of something. But I'm getting used to it, only when I'm in a hurry I feel anxious. Like I said there is a great benefit in it - less accidents.
