  1. Hi.. I just wanted to make a real (no VMware) install these days with nLite 1.0 Final. With 0.99.7 I used a couple of drivers and pointed to them through winnt.sif and "OemPnPDriversPath" option(I did not integrate them through nLite, only one exception is Promise Ata133 Textmode driver). This worked for all drivers I had used without having to remove for example display and printer drivers from within nLite. All of them installed through PnP detection in setup. But I discovered the following problem with nLite 1.0: I used some newer driver versions (for example nvidia 84.21) and exactly the same promise ata133 and kyocera 680 printer driver as used before. However all of them did not install anymore with just the same method as used above in nLite 0.99.7. Anyone has a clue why? I have attached my winnt.sif which I have never changed between the versions and "Last Session.ini" from both 0.99.7 and 1.0. And here u can find the 3 mentioned drivers.. maybe someone can test them: Download Drivers I really hope that someone can give me an answer.. something must have changed between the versions. My apps and everything else is just fine. Only thing is drivers Thanks a lot! Markus winnt.sif Last_Session__0.99.7_.ini Last_Session__1.0_Final_.ini
  2. @Jeremy.. just tested it with latest nLite version. Works perfectly here (German WinXP Gold + SP2). Tested it both with nlite integrated slipstream and with manual slipstream. Identical results. So I think the problem must be somewhere else... corrupted source, bad cd's?
  3. route.exe comes with standard windows... just a net tcpip helper utility it just routes all requests to the skype server to your own IP address range. So the installer CAN NOT check for updates. Or in an other way said: it DOES NOT FIND any update as long as the route entry is set About the popup when starting windows: simply run this registry entry:
  4. Yes it's little easier now to do an unattended installation.
  5. Yes, by reading the documentation and taking a look at the example scripts it IS possible... It was new for me too 2 months ago but by reading the docs I found out by myself how to do it. Please try it too first.
