  1. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

No, actually I didn't forget, but everything works fine, this loading delay was the only flaw since version 0.92
  2. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

I noticed slower Windows loading time (after login), starting by version 0.92... also, everytime windows icon cache is cleaned at startup (this won't happen with dwmglass disabled). My DWMGlass folder is C:\Windows\System32\MyDWM. Here's my debug.log: http://pastebin.com/aceVB6Lq
  3. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

A few reports: - RC0 works fine on Intel HD 4000, only bug noticed is that inactive color window isn't adjustable, there's no color indeed, even if transparency and blur are working. - On Geforce 9600M GT, after some minutes of good behaviour since installation, screen becomes black (but DWM doesn't restart, I think, beacuse when DWM restarts, screen completely turns off for a moment) an even restarting PC doesn't change anything (also pushing Power button doesn't shut down the machine) ... maybe this happens beacuse I'm using latest Desktop drivers on a notebook card, I'll check...

No, it isn't Dell's fault. The uncustomized Mobility Center on my PC shows the same "double color" effect...
  5. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

bigmuscle was right, it was the altered feature level the cause of the problem. Leaving it to auto with last version of Agtweaker, all works correctly (with old version, blurring was absent).
  6. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

All right, finally managed to use System Restore... As for the Metro problem, as I said before, if I open for example win8 builtin pdf reader, and after that I bring the mouse pointer to the left upper corner of the screen, the screen image becomes distorted as in the screenshot... and indeed, this is due to dwmglass, because now UxStyle is not installed, and disabling dwmglass brings things back in order. I have dwmglass 0.85, Nvidia drivers 314.22 installed and feature level forced to DX 9.3.
  7. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

Well, OK, I disabled Unsigned Themes Services to see if it was the reason, and now dwm keeps restarting, and even keeping CTRL pressed doesn't work. Safe mode doesn't start also. I'm trying to manually remove hook from regedit now... wish me luck OK, bootup fault was due to UXStyle disabled service, still trying to reenable or to uninstall it some way...
  8. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

try to force dx 9.3 or lower feature version from agtweaker... Bug report: I noticed that, using Metro apps, when I go in the upper left corner of the screen (for example to go back to desktop), screen image becomes distorted... Also, this malfunction continuously appear in metro app for playing videos (e.g. the default one in Win8) so that videos can't be correctly seen due to this continuous image "flickering".
  9. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

Because AeroGlass does not support any settings to adjust the blur. Opacity is adjusted by slider in Windows Control panel. The opacity adjuster in Control Panel's Color Mixer works correctly, yet blurring settings in AGTweaker don't work... maybe I'm wrong and I need some custom theme in order to see blurring around windows' captions (e.g. like in last screenshot posted by Peacem4k3r)?
  10. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

Tried with version 0.85, same results as before... forcing DX feature 9.3 blurring works but it isn't adjustable... Inactive window: Active window:

On the Geforce I tried both with latest official Nvidia driver (314.22) and with Windows 8 preinstalled one, with the same results. Also on the HD 4000 the driver should be the most recent ( 9.17.10.2875 ).
  12. Aero Glass for Win8 RC4

My experience: I've tried Aero Glass on two machines, one with Win8 Pro x64 (graphic card Geforce 9600), the other with Win8 Standard x64 (Intel HD 4000). On both transparency was fully working without glitches or graphical aberrations, but blurring wasn't. So I tried also AGTweaker: setting manually DX Device feature version to 9.3 works pretty well on the Intel HD 4000 (in the sense that the blurring isn't adjustable but is active), instead on the Geforce 9600 machine blurring also works with DX feature 9.3 BUT dwm keeps restarting every 7-8 seconds (for memory leak probably, from task manager I see working set growing till 100 Mb then dwm restarting). Any suggestions?
