Hi, I'm writing a program at work, which combines all kinds of helpdesk features. One of them is SMS. First of all, when a pc number is entered, the information (IP and so on) is downloaded from a webpage. When the user presses the "Start SMS" button, the remote.exe tool is triggered with the appropriate options. However: about 30 of the 4000 computers here are special, and their IP address is not available on that webpage. Trying to take over these computers via my program is thereby impossible. If I try the netbios name (which I DO have) option from the command line (remote.exe 3 ...) it won't work either. So my question is: does SMS provide a command line tool to query the SMS resource ID of these computers? I have their name used the SMS database. This way I could use: remote.exe 0 <RESOURCEID> Any help is appreciated EDIT: Preferably without installing new software

Hmmm, I tested the digitalfrost method on my Win2k3 install. I removed the minlogon & cad cmdlines and applied the bat file. 270 files remained, I installed the video drivers and rebooted. I get the logon screen and my pass seems to work. The old greenblue background from the 9x days appears for a sec, then turns black. (I see my mouse pointer all the time so no problems there). And after half a minute or so I'm back at the login menu... Some explanation ? Thanks

I got the right plugin & codec pack. "you are using Media Player Classic and have asosiated it with the file extensions" I ain't got MPC installed... :S

Well the codec pack was a simple exe file. Nothing I could do wrong there. Must admit I just randomly searched for the plugin filename on google and downloaded the first thing I found...

NYC Live cam First one is WMV streaming. It stays black no matter how long I wait, while it worked before Also tried BBC stream, same thing...

Hi, I have been removing WMP 9/6.4/codecs with nLite 0.99.8b5. I have forgotten if I removed the compatibility but someone said it doesn't matter anyways so... Next I installed the Codec pack from Titou & placed the stream plugin in the Firefox plugins folder. If I visit streaming content, the WMP gui comes up, and keeps saying : Connecting to media. Whatever URL's I try. Installing WMP10 itself is not possible since I get an error that the latest version is already on my system... I know : I should of kept the whole WMP business but I altered too much to my new installation already to redo the whole thing. Please help me :| Thanks
