  1. Don't like Windows 10...

  2. I need a Windows 7 key :(

  3. Already had that disabled when Ubuntu failed to boot. However, I now need to buy another key for Windows 7 (maybe Ultimate) as I failed to realize that i don't have a (retail) key in the first place. The results may take some time, so I'll inform into how was the result.
  4. [More Information] Windows 10 (Home) has been installed on an Asus laptop with Windows 8.1 (w/ Bing) as the previous OS. Currently, I have 444.65 GB on my C:\ Drive, while I have other partitions for recovery. I have not began attempting to cut partitions, or the process of dual-booting yet. For anything else, please reply.
  5. Hello everyone, I'm currently trying if I can dual boot Windows 7 alongside Windows 10 on my Asus lapop. There hasn't been much info over the Web and thought on getting helpful answers here. 1. Should I dual-boot anyway? Only reason being that I prefer 7's UI better than 10, along with other factors (less surveillance, etc...). 2. Will dual-booting cause problems alongside Windows 10? Info here: http://www.pagestart.com/win8dbwin701181301.html This should be the same, if not, similar to complete with 10. Are there any alternative ways to activate 7 on another partition? 3. How will UEFI affect Windows 7? Read: http://www.pagestart.com/win8dbwin701181301.html I only worry when selecting the OS when booting up that it won't return to the Windows 10 OS selection screen. Something like here should work with this setup, will it? http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/214167-windows-boot-manager-screen-change-listed-os-arrangement-order.html Thanks in advance.
  6. I guess we should release it today. After all, the beta builds were more stable this time around, or at least with the majority.
  7. I found a minor bug. Some minor artifacts are created when a Universal app is on top on one another. Since the screen refreshes once I make a screenshot, I couldn't get any images. However, it can be replicated pretty easily.
  8. Use Winareo Tweaker to resize the titlebars: http://winaero.com/comment.php?comment.news.1836 If not, use this registry tweak shown as Option 2: http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-reduce-title-bar-height-and-size-of-window-buttons-in-windows-10/ Hope this helps.
  9. Can't wait for the final Aero Glass build! Since Aero Glass caused me to reset my system, I guess I'll have to stand by the sidelines. Then again, I did install OldNewExplorer to the system. Guess that tells you my incompetence on newer OSes.
  10. I can confirm that Aero Glass does in fact work in the released public build (10240). Took me too long to try out Windows 10.
  11. My good fellows, sagorpirbd has made some themes that are compatible to Windows 10. http://sagorpirbd.deviantart.com/gallery/53388509/Windows-10-VisualStyle-Themes Now, since I can't use the TP (VT-x doesn't seem to work for me for some odd reason), I can't test them in my own time. I'm willing to wager, though, that there must be some incompatibility with these themes. Please feel free to test them, although it's obvious I didn't create them. I'm sorry, but with the other issues plaguing Windows 10, this tops the icing on the cake (the UI is in a need of work). (Also, my apoligies for going off-topic in this forum, BigMuscle, but if you need to know, I've spent 3 months without any issues related to AeroGlass. )
  12. At the time of this writing, I have the specified update installed (KB3048043), but no side effects occured. Has it been fixed by another update?
  13. (no but seriously, hello everybody!) My name is Clock. I wish to join this forum to talk about the wonders and goodies of the Microsoft Standard, the Windows OS. I first found this forum after realizing,"Hey, where's the Areo features on Windows 8?" ~[side Note: BigMuscle, your program did wonders for me!] Anywho, I'll be roaming the forum from now on, looking for new and interesting ideas, and contributing to a few. Best Regards. ~Clock
