  1. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but did .NET 4.0 on 2000 ever end up working?
  2. Currently, UURollup is depreciated. People recommend that blackwingcat's Extended Kernel and Extended Core are used instead. However, you can't slipstream them. What's the alternative?
  3. I mean, I know that, but using the version from 2012 doesn't even work.
  4. Stupid question: How do I get ren'py based games to work under KernelEx? The kernelex wiki says it should work fine, but I found the latest version of Ren'py that could have been used when that wiki page was "Steampunk Hamster", so I made an example game under that version. I can't get it to work. To clarify, the launcher stub in the games root directory does nothing when ran, even under "XP SP2" compatibility, and replacing the stub with the actual game executable from lib\windows-i686 just says an illegal operation has been performed. Here's a link to the example game I tried: http://b.reich.io/vmnyyz.zip
  5. I'm having a bizarre issue with the Basilisk builds where as soon as I press a key into the address bar or anywhere else it crashes with the traditional "basilisk.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." I can navigate by right-clicking the address bar and clicking "Paste & Go" with a URL in the clipboard, but otherwise it's useless.
  6. I'm trying to install Windows 2000 Datacenter Server on a 8TB Easystore plugged into my computer. However, I get an ARCRead error, Setup cannot read the disk, and if I press enter anyway, I get a bugcheck. Is there a guide on how to install it? The drive has 512e disabled, so it's presented with logical 4kn. However if I enable 512e, I can't use the drive's full capacity.
  7. Looking at Blackwingcat's site here, I can't figure out what is the latest version. Also, should I install UURollup? And if so, what order should I install KernelEx and UURollup in?
  8. how is this related to shorthorn?
  9. Is there documentation on how to install all of Shorthorn and the research kernel onto 2k3? Also, what's the point of the Main Development builds? Also, was Vista/7 RTM's interface ever ported?
  10. Stupid question: Can I use this and One-Core-API on the same machine or will they conflict?
  11. Can I install this alongside 98SE2ME and Revolutions Pack and KernelEx? Should I install AutoPatcher, this, or U98SESP3?
  12. Is the FullPack everything, and then I need to install UUP and KernelEx for Windows 2000? Edit: and USP 5.2?
  13. I know I should install the KernelEx for Windows 2000, but what's the kernel32.dll rewrite from here: And is there anything else I should know about?
