Hi, i'm using Intervideo DVD Copy 4 in my Unattended installation. I made a setup.iss for the setup, but I wonder where the registration settings are stored. I was not able to make out any registry entries or files (even with Regshot). Does anybody know ? Thx Vippis

Hi, I'm looking for a Backup tool that supports RAID controllers independent from OS. For example if your OS doesn't boot and you have to restore your system partition in DOS mode. I have tried well-known tools like Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image. I was able to make an image of my system partition, but I could not recover it from DOS mode, because my RAID controller was not supported. I'm using a NVIDIA NVRAID controller. My array consists of 2x160GB Samsung SC1614C SATA HDDs in RAID0. Does anybody know a good solution ? Thanks a lot.

Hello, i have a Creative Audigy2 ZS and I want to have it installed unattended, including Drivers and Software. Because every setup uses InstallShield I already made setup.iss files for the Software installation and the driver update. My silent installation installs this: Speaker Settings Console, EAX Console, Surround Mixer, Speaker Calibration Assistent, AudioHQ, THX Console, Equalizer, Manual, Drivers (necessary for further update) No problem up to here. Because I don't want to move a single finger after installation, my personal settings should also be installed, like Speaker Settings, THX Console settings, EAX and so on. But where are these settings stored ? I already checked registry values in HKCU and HKLM, but they seem to have no influence. (I dumped those registry settings, changed some things in Speaker Settings Menu, re-imported these settings and nothing has been restored ) I found out that the settings for THX Console are stored in the %APPDATA%\Creative\Calibrator folder. I'm especially searching for Speaker Settings and Surround Mixer Settings. Does anybody know ? Thx

Hallo, Thanks ankap, your MSI works fine for me. @all: How is it possible to copy all your winamp settings like custom view of Media Library (Custom colums etc.), windows positions and sizes and so on ? By copying winamp.ini I can only set options made in "Preferences" menu. Which files/Reg entries are important for these settings ? Thx for help !

Hi guys, I've almost finished creating my Unattended Windows XP DVD. I still haven't found any solution for defining Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird as the Default Internet and E-mail application (Both 1.0 Final). How to do it unattended ? Thx for help !
