  1. Hi Andy, Not sure if there were was a missing $OEM$ folder. Sorry for missing that in the last post! It seems everything installs and with no error messages now - it seems I just needed to modify the (OemPreinstall = no) line in the Sif, to (OemPreinstall = Yes). Is this right? Works great and is a smashing tool! Cheers again for all your help. Pete
  2. Hi Andy, Just so I can try , how do I add device drivers to RIS? Cheers again Pete
  3. Hi Andy, Created on a system with only one partition which was C: and again with another with three partitions with the system drive being h: on the later. Both with the same outcome Cheers Pete
  4. Hi Andy, I've installed using the CD ROM version and all drivers install fine on the machine in question - so drivers are supported based on that. Yes I do restart the Service after copy. On investigation I have found that when the error appears on the machine Im building; C:\D\WatchDriverSigningPolicy.exe Windows cannot find 'C:\D:\WatchDriverSigningPolicy.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search. the machine has pulled down from the server a folder with this name '$win_nt$.~ls' at which point WatchDriverSigningPolicy.exe in looking for C:\D\ Can't get my head round that one! If I where to try and copy drivers I have to the RISULT, how would I go about it? Cheers again for your help. Pete
  5. Hi Andy, Copy of structure - please see attachment RISult_Install.zip Its just the sound, WLAN and video drivers that do not install. Cheers Thanks again for the help Pete

  7. Hi, For the success of the image I have not changed any thing that isn’t part of RISult for obvious reasons. 8. Hi Fencer, Just to mention I recieve the following messages at first login to Windows after setup is complete; C:\D\BTS\_BPs_Finish.cmd Windows cannot find 'C:\D\BTS\_BPs_Finish.cmd'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search. C:\TEMP\BTS_DPs_cleanup.cmd Windows cannot find 'C:\TEMP\BTS_DPs_cleanup.cmd'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search. C:\WINDOWS\Cleanup.cmd Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\Cleanup.cmd'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search. Just so I'm clear, you would like to know how I build the RISult image? Cheers for the help!
  9. Thought as much! Thanks To my other problem please - After I connect to the server and all files are copied to the machine I am building and just before installation of WinXP I get this message; C:\D\WatchDriverSigningPolicy.exe Windows cannot find 'C:\D:\WatchDriverSigningPolicy.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search. After which installation of WINXP starts and completes, but does not install any device drivers. Cheers Hope you can help
  10. After executing RISult.cmd and waiting awhile the end result creates to folders in the RIS_Install dir, $OEM$ and i386. I place the i386 folder into the dir on the Ris server, but where do I place the $OEM$ folder? Cheers very much
  11. Sorry to ask, but how does one apply reg entries? What files do I need to create? Once again sorry for asking!
