For those still not knowing, the place to store your edited unattend.xml is: C:\Windows\Panther\unattend\unattend.xml Now it will work Goog luck

Can you please explain what to do to patch SFC? Vendor fileset is XP with SP2 streamed (Microsofts way, not done with nLite) So, only want to do some tweaks Thx & regards

Sorry for being blue.. I am using nlite for some time now but have not encountered this one I am not just removing...

I have worked on a unattended XP installation with nLite. After I have installed the machine boots and tells me Windows is working with "non-certified files" and I should put in the Service Pack 2 cd-rom into the machine so it can recover the proper/secure SP2 files. The terms are translated from Dutch so perhaps in English it uses different terminology as I do. When I use the vendor files set that is not been worked on with nLite, this problem does not occur. Which component shoul I therefor not remove using nLite or is ot something else. Regards 7 thx
