Just come across this, it turns out that it thinks usbstor.sys is unsigned -the one I had mismatched the one listed in usbstor.inf - just copied them from a good setup dir

I did have a problem with it not copying the folders and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work, checked and double checked everything in the end I just re-made the .sif from scratch with setupmgr again, then edited for the bits that I needed changing. It worked fine then. I did mean to go back and work out what actually was different, cos I did pull my hair out for a time, but I just haven't got around to doing it. So if you haven't remade it might be worth a try. Bec

Yep, it does help if I actually read the deployment kit docs and digest and not read what I think is there.

Ok maybe answering my own question but changed from encrypted password to straight text and it now works. Would prefer it encrypted if possible, but.........
