About gczobel

  1. Hi! My windows installation restart the computer unexpectedly. When I try to run again wpi.hta from the dvd to continue the install I receive the message. "WPI has detected previous installation" etc, etc. If I press Continue the following error occurs. --------- An error was occurred in the script on this page Line: 75 Char: 29 Error: expected "]" Code 0 URL: file://D:\WPI\Common\Installer.hta Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? ----------- The only way to continue is press cancel in the previous screen, and start a new installation. I receive another error testing my config in my main computer. I selected a single msi file to install. But the install fails because the filename contain spaces. (this is ok) When the wpi install window is closed I receive another error. --------- An error was occurred in the script on this page Line: 363 Char: 26 Error: Permission Denied Code 0 URL: about::blank Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? ----------- I press YES and the WPI screen will open ok! Any idea? I attached my config.js fileconfig.js

  7. [How-to] MicrowinX Project

Hi gdogg! It's possible to load/unload the shell from command-line ? For example, will be a good idea a .bat file that: 1) unload the shell 2) load the game 3) load the shell (on game exit) Regards!

Hi gdogg! Telephony service is removed by microwinx pack in the beta 2.5 ? I tried to add the pppoe by myself and only works removing the pack from nLite....
  9. Telephony service

Hi! I removed several services from my nLite windows xp. Now, I want to undelete the "Telephony" service, but I don't see it in the list of services that can be deleted. Why I cannot see it? Maybe it's present with another name? or grouped with another service? Thanks!!!
  10. [How-to] MicrowinX Project

Hi gdogg! First, sorry for bothering you, I resolved the issue: The install work ok now with the attached file. After the install I connected the disks and windows recognize automatically the RAID without problem. I installed the last omega drives for my ati card and the nforce2 drivers for my mother. I can play SplinterCell without install it from my old windows !!! I think that this is not a necesary feature for all the users. Really you need the Logical Disk Service to admin Dynamic disks. All the other tasks (partitions, drive letters, etc) will be made with a partition magic, or similar. If anyone want this only need to activate the "Logical Disk Manager" and remove from the "Delete List" these files: capesnpn.dll certmgr.dll certmgr.msc fsmgmt.msc osuninst.exe Thanks for your help! Last_Session.ini
  11. [How-to] MicrowinX Project

Hi! Trying to install my Dynamic disk (an array of 3 HDDs) I modified the last_session.ini to install the Logical Disk Manager service. Another change was delete some files from the "Delete List" This files are: capesnpn.dll certmgr.dll certmgr.msc fsmgmt.msc osuninst.exe I tested the produced iso file in vmware and I received errors from these files: expand.exe ntsd.exe autochk.exe autofmt.exe regedit.exe I replaced these files from a previous iso and .... works! The Disk Management service is installed and I can mount dynamic disks, format and make partitions. Now...my questions :-) 1) My last_session.ini have several differences. Some of these are not changed for me... (17 differences only in tweaks compared with the original last_session.ini, and I don't change anything!) Why? 2) Why I received errors about the lenght of the 5 exe files? Attached is my last_session.ini Thanks for your help! last_session.ini

Hi! Don't work... to mount or create dynamic disks, windows xp need the "Logical Disk Manager" service. This service is deleted on microwinx. Any posibility to add to beta 3? Thanks!
  13. [How-to] MicrowinX Project

Hi! Install a new hard disk is possible (I used Acronis Disk Director). But, for Dynamic disk, I need to use the Diskpart.exe I tried with several tools but no one can mount a foreign disk set. Is possible to add/import Diskpart to microwinx? Thanks!
  14. [How-to] MicrowinX Project

Ok, thanks! I'll try tomorrow... BTW, I don't see the floppy!
  15. [How-to] MicrowinX Project

Hi! I've a problem adding an Harddisk I've installed microwinx in the hdd0. Now, I want to add another hard disk (where I have all my games installed). The problems is that I see the disk in the "Device Manager", but not in the explorer/mypc/filemanager. I think that the "hardware" step is ok... and the only problem is how to assign a Drive letter to the disk. I tried to make this with the "Disk Management" service, but doen't exists in microwinx Any idea? Thanks!!!!
