Expensive. I won a Blackberry 7750 (Verizon specific setup) at a conference last year, and when I took it to Verizon to have only the cellular activated I was told that I could not do that. I had to activate the data plan as well, for $50 a month for unlimited data access. On top of the cellular plan! And I want to keep tapping the screen instead of that freaky scroll wheel.
I have a registry file that contains, among other things, the following: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections] "DefaultConnectionSettings"=hex:\ 3C,00,00,00,29,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\ 00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\ 00,00 For some reason this registry key causes an issue with an application I am using that uses WinInet to FTP from the handheld to another platform. What I am trying to find out is what each of the hex settings in this key do, and why this particular setting causes me problems. Thanks for any help you can provide.
