I am attempting to do a winxp pro reformat using winxp pro installation files slipstreamed with service pack 3.
I was able to do this successfully a week ago to reformat a laptop which needed sata drivers. I am trying to do a fresh nlite slipstream using the winxpro installation files (this is an open charity license for which I have multiple installs available) but this time for an ide hard drive. I did everything else the same, except for not incuding the sata drivers, but when I try to run it on the laptop to be reformatted, it gets partway through setup and then says "ramdisk.sys cannot be found." I did not delete ramdisk from the nlite config. I've recompiled the iso twice, and burned it to two different cd-r_s with the same results. What should i do? thanks, Erin Cox-Holmes |
