Orginal idea by Acheron (But i do my first Nero Lite WITHOUT knowing about his project).

Thx to ZileXa for idea of 7-zip and others.

How do you install this unattendedly?

I click 3 times ... but yes - that is 2 clicks too mutch ...

but there is more important things like 25x smaller installation file ...

I try to do better 'Unattended' installation for this ... maybe even for this version ...

EDIT: Btw Nero Lite Originall requird over 12 clicks ...

It work - i install this on clean instal of XP and Vista.
Also my all release that i post before work with no error - maybe you have some s*** system ???

Give me some more details like: XP/Vista ,installed Nero before or not ...

Well, if it's simply like this: extract files & perhaps register a few files, then you could easily create an installer that could also be used silently.
I just tested your installer, if I'm correct it does this:
extract files directly to their location (I LIKE THIS!)
run a batchfile that will run the registry of files/shortcuts/launch the readme file.

Correct?

Then you could create a nice 7zip Installer, with the option to install silently with a switch. I could help you with this if you like. Send me a PM.

About the Nero package itself, why did you leave out Mausau plugins? Now people cannot simply create audioCDs anymore (still many people who use them especially for carradio!). I have many archived AudioCDs in Flac or Ogg Vorbis format...
Also I think I stick with Hp38user's Nero Lite cos people that use my uA CD like to create Labels and Covers as well.. so thats 2 things I would miss with your pack.
I do wonder what the size difference would be if Mausau Plugins + Coverdesigner would be kept in your pack.

it seems to be a language problem...

installed on a new installed Win XP Pro (german)

nero lite 7.5.9.0 micro englisch causes the same error (i would test/use the "Northern and Western Europe"-Version, but there are no downloads)

I will think of that ...

Seeing this is a work in progress, thought i'd throw in a few cents worth....


"C:\\Program Files\\Nero\\Nero 7\\Core\\"

should be; "%ProgramFiles%\\Nero\\Nero 7\\Core\\"

and...

"C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Ahead\\Lib\\"

should be; "%CommonProgramFiles%\\Ahead\\Lib\\"

and...

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\

should be; %AppData%\


The above settings will work better for multilingual use.
They should be applied to both your batchfile and your regfile.

In Install.bat it works good !

But in .reg files don't :-(

Then i suggest you move those keys concerned from the regfile to your batchfile and make the entries similar to this:
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\ahead\Installation\Families\Nero 7" /V "TargetPath" /D "%ProgramFiles%\Nero\Nero 7" /f
The above command will pickup the program files path from the users computer and place it into the registry in expanded format.

My initial reaction to you should be understandable. I moderate this forum. You were posting wares with illegal keys, I reacted accordingly. I wish you luck in your endeavors.

Pls don't move this answer - people will know that there is a Nero with can work on Vista right now ...

I don't care about from with thread people will download Nero that will work on Vista now ...

The fact that Acheron Nero Lite 7.7.5.1 has some errors on Vista is more important that any small things like thread counters ...

Not better ?!? - my motivation is not stealing his work - only to show him that other people have some ideas with help him to do better Nero Lite ...

It was from the start - but he NEVER talk to me something like that:
"Hello - i see that you work can help me ..." or "Can we work together-we will do a better Nero Lite!"
He only tell lie that i steel his work ...

Again i say - if Acheron want include some ideas from my Nero, he can do that - and i will be VERY HAPPY !

Why anybody dont tell me that my relese don't work on Vista - i use it on my old Vista ghost and it work but not on clean Install ...

Now i firureout what is the problem - take me 5 seconds to solve it ! But it can be done 3 days ago ...

And now AL|EN Nero 7.7.5.1 Lite 1.22 its comming today - this time really will work on Vista ...

EDIT: And HUGE Installation bug is FIXED ... 1.21 relese WON'T instal :-((( I hope that you will redownload new wersion again ... trust me - its working again ...

Does NOT work on vista Busines and Ultimate Dutch.

You mean on German version of Vista ??? right ?

Screens on English Version - Nero on Vista ...

So ... what is not working ??? Show some errors ...

I test this my relese 3 times, but not on German vista :-(

I will do some test tomorow and i ashure you that it will be work !
