Can you check the registry key... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\winlogon, does UIHost have the value "XPize_Logon.exe" ? |

Yes, that registry key exists and the value points to xpize_logon.exe. Not to cause a ruckus, but am I the only one with this issue? Also, by checking the MD5 value using HashTab, the logonui.exe in C:\windows\system32 is identical to the file in c:\windows\xpize darkside\backup. I do have one question though; would it matter if the logonui was already patched once before? I didn't think it would matter initially, my apologies if it does. I've never tested patching and then patching again... i'm assuming it was patched with XPize? Are you actually seeing the normal welcome screen? ... is your PC on a domain? Perhaps i've made a mistake somewhere; I'll try on a virtual machine and let you know what happens.

Multi-core/processor systems use ntkrnlmp.exe instead of ntoskrnl.exe

XPize Darkside fail to patch a Windows XP SP2 Spanish source with error "Error decompresing data! Corrupted installer? ". I download the setup three times and fail all times. I apply XPize 4.7 lite Beta 2 to the same Windows source and not problem found.

I found that if you manually enter the location of the XP source and don't include the slash at the end that it will fail; if you choose the folder, then the problem should not occur.

OK. I apply HFSlip first to the XP Source with updates only. Can be this the problem ? Normal XPize don't have problem with it.

I'm running XPize Darkside in my actual XP install, select option "Create a XPIze Dark Side Windows ISO", point to the HFSlipped Windows Source and click "Next". The error is in the first file to process.

Try just clicking next once and waiting... This sometimes happens if you press next twice. |

You havn't left me with much to go by there bud... When did this all happen? Did you have your normal Logon screen working before installation? Have you got XPize installed aswell? (If so, uninstall both and ONLY install XPize Darkside) Did you select UXTheme patcher when installing? |
