If you don't like MSN Messenger 5 and wanna remove it the best way possible, try this

Bring the RUN command up and add to the textbox

QUOTE
msiexec.exe /x {ABEB838C-A1A7-4C5D-B7E1-8B4314B00543}
It will prompt
QUOTE
Are you sure you want to uninstall this program?


Click Yes to remove smile.gif
Go to the top of the page

Tried that on my test VPC running Windows XP with MSN Messenger 5.0.0544 installed. After clicking Yes, I get the

"This action is only valid for products that are currently installed" error message.

i've fixed it by making a very small prog to grab details to remove.. got no where to upload it tongue.gif

u do know gamehead that the {ABEB838C-A1A7-4C5D-B7E1-8B4314B10138} eg CLSID is random for all installs so not everyone has the same one newwink.gif thats why i made a proggy to automatic detect the CLSID and remove it nicely newwink.gif :Woot:
