look this topic: http://www.msfn.org/board/Multiboot-Vista-...ith-t95537.html

it would seem interesting to me, if this could be made an addon

i think it would be hard todo ... cus first you have to check if its the main os installed(maybe through boot.ini) if its not the main os you should not install grub(as described in the article)...

i think it would be an interesting and usefull addon..

and winflip would be cool to http://winflip.stylekings.de/

Hi,

In fact is simple to do this. You need to check if the file called boot.ini exists on %systemdrive% (this file is located only on the main partition - where is installed the first Windows OS). The rest is simple.

Are you sure that grub4dos need to be installed?
I have downloaded grub4dos-0.4.3.zip and inside I don't see an installer.

you only have to read the thread from msfn forum..

it tells you how to install grub into windows.. basicly you rename ntldr and replace it with the grub loader then put the xp with the renamed ntldr in the boot menu
