[RunOnceEx] µTorrent 2.0 Beta (Build 17127) with Blue Rider Theme (Credit:Montana)

Add language support for non-English User via utorrent.lng
U can indicate shortcut creation via an answer file, utorrentSC.ini. If theme icon is available (main.ico), then the shortcut icon will be theme-base. Otherwise, it is default green icon.

Program default configuration:
Only has 1 start menu, rest of shortcuts are excluded (i.e. no desktop & quick launch shortcut). Icon use is from Blue Rider theme.
Associate .torrent file as the program default handler

Screenshot1: To update program version whenever newer version is release, open utorrentSelfUpdate.exe with WINRAR, then see instruction in the screenshot. Do not delete utorrent.lng.
Add an additional file, utorrentSC.ini, for user to indicate their shortcut preference.


Screenshot2: To configure your own themes/setting, open utorrentSelfUpdate.exe with WINRAR
Replace / delete any *.bmp & *.ico files as necessary within the App_uTorrent folder in WINRAR GUI


When U have updated various files within utorrentSelfUpdate.exe , cab back the same format as before.

Update version to 1.8.2 Build 14458 plus re-do to silent, configurable (at user end) type
Default theme is still Blue Rider via RunOnceEx

Can you post the AutoIt script or PM it to me for those who want to customize it. I wanted to add some additional reg tweak settings and integrate a hosts block file.

I have already post a script for you to use and u are free to modify it further to suit your need. (in #Post 6)

Update with an option file, utorrentSC.ini for user to indicate their shortcut preference. (see screenshot1)

Minor changes:
utBRiderRUEx.exe is using 7zsfx module to create registry entry
Program in Add/Remove panel will also use Blue Rider icon

This made me able to do a silent install through WPI with new version of uTorrent.
It works beautifully.

Please note there is a slight different installation routine this time with this version. It insist on launching the installation wizard for the very first time. U need to click "Cancel" when prompt for location/shortcut and everything will be back to normal.

Fix:
utorrentSelfUpdate.exe: Comment file modified to extract %programfiles%\uTorrent_PF
utorrentSelfUpdate.exe: Update utorrent.lng
utorrentSelfUpdate.exe: update settings.dat within App_uTorrent folder

utorrentSilentScript.exe: Correct all folder references for "utorrent" to "uTorrent"
utorrentSilentScript.exe: Create %programfiles%\uTorrent folder & del %programfiles%\uTorrent_PF after installation (Transparent to user)
utorrentSilentScript.exe: No more installation prompt for creating shortcut upon 1st run.

This is a complete new package. utorrentSilentScript.exe is not compatible with earlier version.

Update from 1.9 Beta (build 15380) to 2.0 Beta (Build 16222)

The following are updated:
1) Remove 7zsfx. Use cmd script for RunOnceEx entry.
2) utorrentSelfUpdate.exe: Update settings.dat within App_uTorrent folder
3) utorrentSilentScript.exe: Uninstaller entry now at HKLM (formerly at HKCU)
So Add/Remove icon is now only default Green. No more Blue icon.

Update to 2.0 Beta (Build 16546)

The following are updated:
1) utorrentSelfUpdate.exe: Update most of *.dat within App_uTorrent folder
2) utorrentSilentScript.exe
Just a small note: Shortcut on Start Menu & Desktop now goes to all user's folder. Only QL is current user. The blue theme icons will reset to green if new user launch the program via the shortcut and select to create shortcut on Start Menu and desktop.
