problems with live messenger Rate Topic: -----

I'm a student in the UK and i've had vista buisness for about 7 months now and live messenger works perfectly. But when i bring my computer home for the holidays live messenger just stops working for no reason that i can gather. It tells me that there is a problem with my internet connection but i know for a fact that is not true. The error code is 81000306. Can anybody help?

Ignore my post, i have fixed the problem. Aparently Netgear routers and vista dont get on too well

I use netgear and vista...
