Can't Shrink Volume Disk Managment Rate Topic: -----

i can't seem to shrink my volume everything was ok till i use vlite to shrink the vista install dvd

if this is in the wrong forum could someone please move it

Check event viewer my say some missing files or whatever

I only got crackling when i used Microsoft Version of my driver, when i downloaded my own driver (AC'97) it worked great

Try it that was the first thing that came to my mind though i'll admit am on a raid setup

I looked at the Event Viewer and there was no message of an error.

Btw tested it by eliminating and it's:
Disk Defragmenter

I will check if it's possible to separate those two but even if not it makes sense that it needs to defrag after shrinking. Or it even does it with the defrag engine. Lets not be hasty it could just be a missing class in the registry.
