Unfortunately, the search engine doesn't allow searching for anything less than three character expressions....

So, I'm getting occational XP install 'hangs' at the T9 applying settings section.

Does anyone know of a few common reasons why this could happen?

The XP SP2 source was clean, RVMIntegrator used to load a bunch of addons. nlite used to trim a load of options out. BtS Driverpacks loaded at the end. iso made with the RVMIntegrator or nero or cdburnerxppro. Doesn't seem to matter which tool I use to actually creat an iso from the modified source dirs.

The T9 hang is pretty random. Using the same tools and settings, sometimes I'll get an iso that hangs at T9, sometimes the resulting isos work just fine.

This might have something to do with the automatic root cert update that happens at T9. Does anyone know of any way to supress the rootupd.exe call at T9 so I can test?

??? and thanks in advance for the help

or, alternatively, does anyone know the sequence of events that occur at T-9 and on down to the last reboot?
