JoeGons
Hi, Windows Setup Manager Wizard.I an trying to make an Unattended XP install CD. When I try to use Setup Manager to creat an Answer (winnt.sif) file, I get this message when I click "Next" after "Display Settings": "Setup Manager cannot load the Time zone data from the registry. The time zone settings page will beskipped."The Setup Manager Program then crashes. I have tried different Versions of Setup Manager and I get the same results. Any ideas? Thanks,Joe
gosh
You can just make your own unattend file. In the i386 folder is unattend.txt that has a reference. Ref.chm has the command lines. Are you clicking on next on each option in setupmgr, or are you skipping around? Make sure you're using the latest version of setupmgr.exe included in the deploy.cab in the support tools. When ms releases a service pack they also update the deploy tools.-gosh
JoeGons
Thanks goshI found out how to make the file manually. I just wanted to learn how to use the Setup Wizzy. I am trying a step by step using "Next". It just can't find my Time Zone settings. I have tried three versions.Joe
