I checked the box to keep IIS but every time I try to install it, it errors and won't install. I'm not sure what I am removing that's causing it. I tried it with vLite 1.1 beta and 1.0. I remove a lot of the stuff I don't use. Accessibility, WMP, languages, etc.

I tried doing it 3 or 4 times but still have the problem of IIS erroring when I try to install it.

Thanks

It has to do with Volume Shadow Copy, System Restore, Windows Backup. I used the same settings except with these not removed and it works fine.

I made 2 ISOs and those were the only changes. It works with them but not without...... I dunno

Edit: After hours of trying, I have everything removed except Volume Shadow Copy. As soon as i remove that IIS won't install anymore. Thank god for vmware :)

sometimes uac is the culprit and not the removals. enable/disable it.

The cause was the Snipping Tool removal if Tablet PC kept, added warning in the next version.

nuhi, I've got the same problem on Vista x86, a frind of mine has it too (dunno what he removed and what not)

I've checked IIS in the compability screen but now it won't install. I've removed TabletPC but kept Snipping Tool, so I don't know what causes the problem! Here is my Last Session.ini file:

Keeping 80Mb of help files for just 8Mb of IIS....too bad
