I thought I was relatively conservative in taking things out of my install but I get "Installshield Error 0x80040707" every time InstallShield runs. The exact error message is:

(new window)
title bar = Unhandled Exception
text =
Error Number: 0x80040706
Description: Object reference not set
Setup will now terminate.

I tried the suggestions at http://www.mrtweak.com/software-microsoft-...nd-windows-dep/

I have included the profile as an attachment.

Thanks in Advance for all the help

UPDATE: Turning off DEP (using the "/noexecute=AlwaysOff" boot flag works so I'm assuming DEP caused the problem) I turned er off, installed everything then turned er back on. It works but sucks. At any rate this is not an nLite problem but I thought I would leave it here as useful information.

Cool, thanks.

Have you tried the default DEP setting?

The dialog box under system->advanced->performance->DEP was greyed out and I could not chose the things.

At the bottom it said that I need to be an Administrator (done) and something about boot.ini.
