loopsy
HihoI have a Vista-Ultimate disc and removed the Media Center, all the games and printer driversvia vlite (latest version).Installed on a Asus P5W-DH Deluxe based System. Latest Realtek Audio Driver (R175) is installed, device manager shows everything normal, however I cannot get the sound to work ! Total silence...Re-installed system and used R164 Audio drivers, same result. The drivers work very well btw., if I install normally from the original disc (with Media Center)Is there something I could do ? Any hints, tips ?Thanks for your help !
tarlar
Maybe if you could attach your preset file? I'm working on a vLite'd Ultimate 32 bit and I have ALWAYS removed the Media Center, games and printer drivers: I have never had that problem. nuhi
Probably not vLite related, you could have forgotten something like the wrong jack, cable issue, maybe even wrong/different driver. But you never know, keep us updated.
loopsy
The system is physically untouched, it runs flawless with the same driversunder a "out-of-the-box" Ultimate 32bit.When I install the vlite Vista (without the MC), hardware is detected correctly, drivers are installed properly manually, but cannot get a single tone out of it....Weird... loopsy
The solution: Had to unplug/re-plug the cable of the loudspeaker system, could select the speakers then again and sound is there now...So no problem with vlite, but problem with Vista which had to"detect" the speakers again.
