Ok, let me start by saying this is really getting on my nerves.

I use Hamachi for my virtual LAN or VPN or whatever you want to call it. About half a year ago when I made a server in Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, everyone who was connected to my Hamachi network that opened HL2DM could see my server listed under the LAN tab.

Now, I have a router and the game uses port 27015 however Hamachi eliminates the need for port forwarding and even when everything worked fine, none of us ever needed to do port forwarding.

We can ping each other and chat via Hamachi, but the server does not show up.

I went through the Hamachi forums and made sure my default gateway for Hamachi is 5.0.0.1 and that my broadcast coming from the IP was 255.255.255.255. Basically, every "shot in the dark" they suggest I have tried. I am not running a software firewall or anti-virus or PeerGuardian or anything like that that would interfere with this.

Does anyone know anything else I can try to resolve this?

Zxian helped me resolve this by doing the following:

- Editing the sv_lan 0/1 to 0 in my server.cfg file so that it's an Internet server.
- Enabling DMZ on my router.

Thanks Zxian. Sorry for pwning you. puntoMX, apologies to you as well. Why don't you both team up and hunt me down. :P
