Hi all,
I'm using a creative sound card and also i have onboard realtek sound out. My speakers are pluged in the sound card and the headphones in realtek onboard out. Both are working perfect.

I need a help, that is every single time i have to switch between these audio devices i have to go the control panel and sound settings and have to change my default sound out, again i have to start the player again. I like to have a script like thing like toggling using context menu option.

I think i had explained me well enough. This will save me lot of time. As, I have very little knowledge about scripts and tweaking, i ask u guys. Thanks.

don't think this is going to be possible via a script. There isn't even the ability to change the c=volume via script. You are looking at needing an application VB or C to do this.

Might be easier to use DEVCON and enable/disable the cards as needed.

I have two sound cards in my computer, and I have made a small program which loads in the system tray and switches between the sound cards with just a double-click!

Check out http://www.freewebs.com/stritesoftware
and go to the projects page

:hello: Oh~ I also have two sound card, and also have a writed a small program for switching.

A program allows you to change the default sound playback device quickly.
It is very useful for users with more than one soundcard.
With this tool you can generate a series of desktop shortcut for each sound device, and then you run the shortcut can be directly switched to the corresponding device.

This tool support Windows XP/2003.
