The title says it all. The Opposing Fronts (Company of Heroes btw) installer is not working (or should I say, not starting). The autorun runs fine, but setup.exe and gameInst.exe are starting for half a second and close. No error displayed, in temps folders or in event viewer. My copy is fine and is working because in Virtualbox, no problem at all, so it is caused by a component(s) I removed. I got the same problem with my other computer with a similar nLite config.

Anyone have the same problem? I don't want to spend hours and hours to locate the component the installer need.

EDIT: The COH original installer works fine.

Well, I just did some testing with 7-8 tests in VirtualBox and I found the component needed: MDAC.

Case closed.

Ooo weird...

If someone else confirms (no offense), I'll put this info in the description.
