Microsoft have just released a new version of IE 7 without WGA checking.

IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe

Has anyone managed to get this to silently install?

7Zip switchless installer, /passive /update-no and /norestart switches were used.
You can change /passive to /quiet to make it completely silent.

this version doesnt show the menubar by default as mentioned. the two patches must be installed. the wga validation is removed and RunOnceEx problem is solved in this release. silent installation works the same as previous version.

That is good news. I hope that Tomcat76 releases a new version of HFSLIP soon which supports this new IE7 release.
