I can't stand Quicktime and I'd like to avoid installing it if at all possible. Anyone got an idea?

the problem is that itunes is based off quicktime. just disable quicktime after itunes is installed. i am a hardcore mac guy and when itunes was ported over it still uses quicktime as a base.
