Name: Pop Down

Version: 2.0.1

Size: 16.7KB

Description: Pop-Down is a program designed for Internet Explorer. While enabled, popup windows will never interfere with your web surfing again. Popups are killed before they are created, so you will never see them, nor download any of their content. Pop-Down will notify you each time it kills a popup, so if it kills one you wanted, simply depress the Ctrl key while the popup is being created, and it will not be killed.

Web reference: Web Archive <-> Softonic Site

Personal Note: Personally, while using IE6SP1 accompanied the beloved Pop Down on my floppy :blushing: . Spent time with Firefox 1.5 PenDrive and all change and never went back to IE. Who still use IE6, you will be very useful. (One of my favorite applications when sailing in completely unprotected virus Internet cafes ...) :thumbup

It's unclear whether Audacity 2.0 still works in Win98/ME. They give conflicting information on their website. As I reported earlier, 1.3.14 beta resumed Win98/ME support. Anyone know if this is still the case? I probably will test it out soon and I'll report back on the results.

Always appreciate your heads-ups on software updates, halohalo.

I think it is clear, Audacity 2.0 works in Win98/ME, but you need this ANSI version:

Not sure if this is the correct thread to post this, but I am looking for a free photo imaging program that incorporates the option to create an arc shape to the 4 corners of an image, and the option to be able to change the arc colour.

Not sure if I understand exactly what you are asking for,

but did you try FastStone Image Viewer 4.6

(freeware - no install required - fully compatible with Windows 9x)?

It has so much possibilities.

Just come back to say that program you told me about works a treat, very easy to use, thank you very much for your help. :D
