Hey guys, if I integrate hotfix KB929777 can I install Vista x64 with 4gb installed on the mobo or will i run into the error?

this update fixes the error while installing Vista, so integrate it inside your DVD

Isn't it problem with your mobo rather than Vista?
I've installed Vista x64 few times on my PC with 4GB of memory without that particular hotfix. No problem.

on the microsoft website it says anything larger than 3GB on certain "environments"

Is there anyone that still has this issue, regular Vista DVD or ISO, integrated this hotfix with vLite and still have the issue with more than 2GB of RAM to install?
If yes then post here or PM me, I might have a solution but it needs to be tested.
