FrankE9999
We are using WIM images to deploy Windows XP. I am trying to integrate the latest updates into the image without having to recreate it. The only information I could find was for doing this under Vista (http://www.minasi.com/newsletters/nws0709.htm). Does anyone have information on how to do this with a XP WIM image? IcemanND
Technically you can't. At least not in the way you can for Vista. You can add it to your image and add the appropriate scripts to install them via cmdlines.txt, runonce etc.
X-Ecutioner
What we (I) did was our master computer is a VM so i have about 4 different VMs for different stages. So basically when more updates come out, i simply boot up the VM and update it, then image it. Obviously that may be tedious at times... but as you cant apply updates like vista... thats the only real option.Aside from that, yea you could have the updates applied at startup... or during the sysprep
