Hi, I have a laptop (Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M1437G) without floppy so I need to integrate a SATA driver on my install CD. (unfortunately I lost my restore CD).

I have tried to integrate it but when I boot I get told that Windows XP can't find any hard drive. I have previously installed Linux on the drive so does anybody know if I need to wipe the drive or do anything in order that the Windows XP can see a linux formatted drive?

Here is my nLite session attached:

Which S-ATA driver did you integrate and which S-ATA Controller did you highlight when you got the textmode driver popup window?

I have tried both the SATA drivers at fujitsu siemens site and the generic VIA VT6421 drivers at viaarena.com. I made sure to integrate the win xp versions.

I never got a popup during the textmode installation (I assume you are talking about the installation when you say textmode), all I get is a message that my harddrive is not found and the system will reboot.

Do you want to keep the Linux partition ?
´cause windows is still "blind" about them, even though MS went into the Linuxsector.
