Does anybody know how vlite is removing components like the defender?
vlite is a nice tool for privat usage, but you can't use it in a corporate environment. MS will not support any installation created with a vlite DVD.
Is there any legal alternative?
Thanks!

Your the one selecting the components for removal, and yes defender can be removed.
Oh and as far I as I know, you can use it for non-private use. As long as don't distro the image (i.e sell it etc). But then again when it comes and goes for what policy corps have, well.... your on your own for that one.
And if you want support from M$, why are you even bothering with a tool if you do not know what your "fildding" with?
