I know it's a known problem - the solution is to install Office after Net Framework. But what can I do with computers where Office installation is already broken (except reinstalling Windows)? I admit I haven’t tried reinstalling Office.
So, to summarize:
- Office 2k3 was installed from administrative point with SP3 slipstreamed
- then Net Framework was installed (either 1.1 SP1 or 2.0)
- with Microsoft Update on updates for Office keep coming (as for now one update – junk filter for Outlook) but fail to install. Updates for other products (eg. msxml) install with no problem

How can I fix it?
TIA
