Hi.

My new network is behind a proxy and I am successfully able to configure the proxy options to download the "patches/files" successfully. But when I initially open WUD I use to get notification (before proxy) that there were new UL's availiable, but that does not seem to be working now.

Does the notification mechanism use the same proxy username and password feature. Or is there and type of debugging I could use to find out what the problem is?

I would like to diagnose the proxy with you because other people have had issues with the proxy authentication but no one has ever stepped forward to help me troubleshoot with them. PM me with your e-mail and we'll look at it together.

Just to let you know, the notifications are working now, I managed to make myself and administrator of the machine that was originally locaked down to just a normal user. Would that have caused the issue? Where does the download and comparison script run wit hthe product, maybe I didnt originally have rights to the folder?

Perhaps the user you were using didn't have network access or it could have been an NTFS issue.
