DDR2 Ram PC6400 vs PC10000 Diffrence? Rate Topic: -----

Im buying new DDR2 ram!

And i can't get it straight is PC10000 much faster than PC6400 ram?

I mean do you notice the diffrence while playing games or running applications?

pretty much.

it would also help to have a top of the line cpu for that speed of ram. pc10000 also costs ALOT more than pc6400.

Hmm, 1250MHz (DDR), that’s a FSB/2 of 625MHz.

I have seen Motherboards that went up to 520-530MHz so why go higher?
Also the timings of those 1250MHz DIMMs must be outrages.
If you go up a bit from PC2-6400, you could go with PC2-8500 (1066MHz (DDR)).
