Hi please help im in the brown stuff! Got customers laptop has to go back tomoz and has VHB on it (worst laptop i ever saw) I got Vlite to work on another machine (has burner fortunatly) and fed it my gateway's Vista Home Preminum Disc to create a VHB disc

But even though i choose the VHB setting it stiil loads as the VHP disc and has the OEM key (and product ID) already in place so im really in it what can I do?

Can someone tell me how to kill the Gateway OEM stuff so I can replace the OEM key (sticker on bottom of machine key) for the Build to work

It's getting Late and Im really worried.

Check the vlite homepage vlite.net, second news post ("Reboot on browse").

To "solve" it you will have to uninstall any antivirus programs you're using and if you care report the fix to them.

Will check that out. My Gateway VHP disc only has VHP on it, so I had to install XP Pro on the machine. When I get a OEM VHB i'l have to remember to create an .iso Just hope the customer will be happy with the "downgrade" ;)

My Machine that crashed has

XP Pro SP2 (All updates)
Zone Alarm free (think its the most recent one but is new)
Spyware Blaster
Spybot search and Destroy (1.4)
AVG

I think it's AVG.
