evila
I'm having major issues with the MassStorage Drivers when syspreping Windows 2000. Regardless of how I prepared the mass storage drivers there's going to be an error message like this:error.jpgOriginally I have the following keys in my sysprep.inf[sysprep]BuildMassStorageSection=Yes[sysprepMassStorage]PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7469=c:\drivers\m\am\AMDEIDE.infPCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4349=c:\drivers\m\at\atiide.infPCI\VEN_10B9&DEV_5215=c:\drivers\m\au\1\ALIIDE.INFPCI\VEN_10B9&DEV_5219=c:\drivers\m\au\1\ALIIDE.INFPCI\VEN_10B9&DEV_5229=c:\drivers\m\au\1\ALIIDE.INFPCI\VEN_10B9&DEV_5228=c:\drivers\m\au\2\m5228.INF . . .The only way I could run sysprep without getting errors is to remove the entire sysprepmassstorage section....I've tried add paths to the devPath Reg key, it didn't work.the mass storage drivers I use are from driverpacks.net , which I think are compatible with Windows 2000. Why am I getting this error??? Edited December 13, 2007 by evila
randalldale
Not sure if you got an answer but according to Microsoft something is written wrong in your mass storage listings or one of the drivers listed is spelled wrong. You might try removing just one line at a time to find the error.Randy
