I just bought the new iPod Nano, and i'd read that you don't necessarily need XP or Vista, because u can add the music from other programs. I've downloaded Anapod Explorer but it says it can't locate my device. My iPod is charging so that means its gotta be hooked up, but how can i help it find it? i've tried to use the anapod reinitializer, but the only drive it says is available is my A:\ drive. i'm thinking its not reading from the USB port- any help?

To my knowledge, u have to install iTunes and tell the iPod through that, thats it can be accessed from MyComputer or other applications.
The default fro an iPod, is that it can only be accessed using iTunes
