Well, why not BricoPack Vista Inspirat Ultimate 2 then ?

Anyway, i still believe that both Tango and Crystal icons would be great on 98:

This has probably been answered elsewhere, but have you considered using something like XIS (XPize Installer System) for this? I mean in the sense it can do a reshack on the already existing executables and DLLs in the system to be Renovatio'd instead of requiring the extraction and replacement of (possibly) incompatible versions of the files you customize. Have you given this any thought?

I can't understand what you are saying... In the old project you found those files?

What I"m saying is Some of the files from lupus/Revolution pack cause many of my apps not to work
but when i revert back to Win98SE files all is good. These are the files for Windows 98SE
thats works without breakage

EXPLORER.EXE 4.72.3612.1710
Systray.exe 4.10.0.2224
USER.EXE 4.10.0.2233
browseui.dll 6.0.2800.1915
COMDLG32.DLL 4.72.3510.2300
DOCPROP.DLL 5.0.1897.1
FONTEXT.DLL 4.10.0.1704
MYDOCS.DLL 4.72.3510.2300
PLUSTAB.DLL 5.0.1528.1
quartz.dll 6.5.1.907
Shell32.dll 4.72.3812.634
SHSCRAP.DLL 4.0.0.950
IESHWIZ.EXE 4.72.3110.0
USER32.DLL 4.10.0.2233
WEBVW.DLL 5.0.312.0

I'll just say this WinMe files works good but when i install option 3 from 98SE2ME i have the same problem stated above so i think the Win98SE files below will be ok to use imo
just avoid using the files listed below from MDGx quote

Quote

If you installed 98SE2ME option 3, that might do this [?], but not sure.
98SE2ME option 3 installs these files from WinME CABs:

In %windir% [usually C:\WINDOWS]:
- Windows Explorer = EXPLORER.EXE 5.50.4134.100
In %windir%\SYSTEM [usually C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM]:
- Common Dialog 32-bit Control = COMDLG32.DLL 5.50.4134.100
- Active IMM Server = DIMM.DLL 5.00.3000.1
- OLE DOCument Properties = DOCPROP.DLL 5.00.2136.1
- OLE DOCument Properties 2 = DOCPROP2.DLL 5.00.2136.1
- Fonts Folder Control = FONTEXT.DLL 4.90.3000
- My DOCuments Folder Control = MYDOCS.DLL 5.50.4134.100
- Map Network Drives/Network Places Wizard = NETPLWIZ.DLL 5.00.2136.1
- Effects Control = PLUSTAB.DLL 5.00.2136.1
- Shell 32-bit Control = SHELL32.DLL 5.50.4134.100
- Shell Scrap Object Handler = SHSCRAP.DLL 5.00.2136.1
- Customize Folder Wizard = IESHWIZ.EXE 5.50.4134.100
- Web View Control = WEBVW.DLL 5.50.4134.7069 from unofficial Q900725 MS05-049 security fix:

I understand what you are saying...in my project i have other versions of those files (most of them from win200 and winme), but i must say i didn't had any problems (now i'm testing my project and improving some stuff and it's working good).

All i'm saying is keep a open mind about things i like what you are doing and i would like a better look
for my Win98SE machine but i will not use your update if it breaks programs i have bought with my hard earn money.thats why i don't use option 3 from 98SE2ME because it allows some of my programs not to run
we might not use the same software but does that mean i have to suffer by not getting this wonderful update
because you have no interest in modding Win98SE files.I don't mind the lost, keep up the good work.
