Why even use XP Home edition? Rate Topic: -----

Why do people include XP Home on there Multi-boot cds, if they have professional?

If you have a friend that has xp home and they have a problem, it would be useful to have home on your cd so you could reinstall or repair his windows. I've seen upgrading from XP Home to XP Pro blow up computers, so just upgrading your friend to xp pro might not be a good idea, especially if it's home OEM.

Or maybe its basicly because of the urge to have "The grand collection" ... :)
