rats2
I want to include drivers on an unattended Windows XP iso; however, some of the drivers I want to use are in setup.exe files that do not let me use the .inf file. How can I include this type of driver file in a nLite created iso?I have been able to work with the drivers that allow me to see all of the files and select the .inf in the Drivers section of nLite. I am using Windows XP Professinal SP2, nLite 1.4.1 and the Gateway OEM Windows XP CD that came with the computer. The drivers I want to install during the installation are new eom drivers and are not part of the CD that can with the computer.Thank you,
Ponch
Sometimes, .exe files unzip to a temporary folder where you can get the .inf file.
radigast
To get into the guts of most installer packages, just use Universal Extractor. LINKAfter you install, simply right click on the installer package and "UniExtract to subdir". If all works well and Universal Extractor can handle the installer package, you will have a new folder with all of the files that were sealed inside your install package. Use that folder when intergrating into NLite.
